It is a new Google site released the other day, but it seems that if you have a Google Workspace account, you may not be able to access the new Google site unless you make certain settings.
I don't know the cause, but some of the Google Workspace accounts I manage were accessible without doing anything, and some weren't.A free Gmail account seems to be fine.
This time, I will introduce the setting method when you can not access the new Google site.
How to access and set up a new Google site
You can usually access the new Google site by following the steps below.
In Chrome, open a new tab and select "Site" from the launcher menu in the upper right. If the URL is direct, it will be "https://sites.google.com/a/organization domain".
The screen of the old Google site is displayed.
Normally, the "New Google Sites" link is displayed in the left menu, but it seems that some Google Workspace accounts do not display this link.
In this case, with administrator privilegesManagement consoleGo to Apps> Google Workspace> Site Settings.
Next, in the "Create Site" item of "New Google Sites", check "Enable user creation and editing of sites" and press the save button at the bottom of the screen.
This setting doesn't seem to be reflected immediately, and in my case, when I checked it after about 24 hours, a "new Google site" link appeared.
If you can't access the new Google site, give it a try.
